Background



Computerized Rural Information Systems Project (CRISP) was initiated with a view to facilitate the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) in monitoring the progress of various poverty alleviation schemes, implemented by the District Rural Development Agencies (DRDAs). The project was initiated with the objectives to:
  • Design and Develop software solutions to capture and process the data related to poverty alleviation schemes, at DRDA level and generate output reports to enable monitoring of the schemes.
  • Provide training to the DRDA staff on the operational aspects of the software, with a view to facilitate data entry and report generation.
  • Continuously maintain & update of the software solution.
